KSA
Who we are
I’m sure most of you by now know that ALL parents are automatically members of the KSA and really welcome to join any of the meetings and fund raising events. Meetings are very informal and usually accompanied by refreshments. The KSA is purely a fund raising committee, there to raise money and then spend it on extra items to enhance our children’s school experience.
The KSA plan and run many key events in the school calendar including the Christmas Cracker, Easter Egg hunt, The Summer Duck Race and BBQ. The KSA donations have enhanced and enriched the quality of the learning in school.
If you are new to the area or the school it is a fantastic way to get to know new people. If there are things you would like to see happen or equipment you’d like to get- come onboard and make it happen!
Over the years the KSA have paid for:
PA systems, cordless microphones, travelling pantomime visit for all children, coach travel to swimming, digital cameras, Christmas presents for all the children, play time equipment, educational artefacts, CD players and Pool tables.
As the K.S.A is a registered charity please feel free to view our constitution below.
How does the KSA support learning experiences?
Money raised by the KSA has allowed the school to buy class sets of instruments, such as glockenspiels. This means that ALL children have the opportunity to take part in lessons at the same time - resulting in better progress and greater pupil engagement within lessons.
